Kirk Cameron Syntymäpäivä, syntymäaika
Kirk Thomas Cameron (s. 12. lokakuuta 1970) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä ja kristillinen evankelista. Hän tuli tunnetuksi Mike Seaverin roolista televisiosarjassa Growing Pains (1985–1992). Nyttemmin hän on esiintynyt esimerkiksi Kadotettu maailma (Left Behind) -elokuvissa sekä draamassa Fireproof (2008).
Cameron sai Growing Pains -sarjasta vuosina 1986–1988 kolme Young Artist -palkintoa. Hän oli myös ehdolla Golden Globen saajaksi vuosina 1988 ja 1989.
Cameron kuuluu The Way of the Master -evankeliointijärjestön johtoon yhdessä tunnetun kreationistin Ray Comfortin kanssa. Järjestön toimintaan kuuluu Cameronin ja Comfortin juontama The Way of the Master -televisioshow. Cameron on Comfortin kanssa lupaillut, että Jumalan olemassaolo on ehdottomasti todistettavissa perusteilla, jotka eivät liity uskoon. Hän pitää ihmisten epäuskoon suurimpana syynä teoriaa (evoluutio), jota hänen mukaansa monet tiedemiehet nykyisin pitävät ”aikuisten satuna”. Cameron on omien sanojensa mukaan entinen ateisti ja evolutionisti.
Cameron on julkaissut omaelämäkertateoksen Still Growing (2008).
Newsmax nimesi Cameronin 100 vaikuttavimman evankelisen joukkoon Yhdysvalloissa vuonna 2017.
