Numerous changes in memberships of the New York Stock Exchange and in the personnel of member firms were recorded in the last week. Proposals and changes, as posted on the Exchange's bulletin boards, follows:
Kay Kendall Syntymäpäivä, syntymäaika
Kay Kendall (21. toukokuuta 1926 Withernsea – 6. syyskuuta 1959 Lontoo) oli brittiläinen näyttelijä. Hänellä oli rooli esimerkiksi Henry Corneliuksen komediaelokuvassa Vauhtihirmut valloillaan (Genevieve, 1953). Kendallin ja Taina Elgin esiintyminen elokuvamusikaalissa Tytöt (Les Girls, 1957) toi molemmille Golden Globe -palkinnon.
Kendall, alkuperäiseltä nimeltään Justine Kay McCarthy, meni vuonna 1957 naimisiin Rex Harrisonin kanssa. Hän kuoli leukemiaan syyskuussa 1959 ollessaan vain 33-vuotias.

MR. BELASCO declares that his three failures of the past season cost $320,000, and although the amount sounds excessive it must be borne in mind that Mr. Belasco is a producer who spares no costs. "Lily Sue," he declares, lost $80,000, "Fanny" about $60,000, and "What Never Dies" -- this the incredible one -- $170,000.

In the heaviest Saturday trading since Nov. 14, 1925, the stocks which have been participating most actively in the present advance were whirled to new high levels on the Stock Exchange yesterday. Except for two or three conspicuous declines, affecting issues in which over-zealous speculators had romped for some days past, yesterday's market was almost a counterpart of that of Friday.
